We see people’s life as a lifestyle. And this is what lifestyle brands thrive on. Today, a good number of companies offer services that help to turn our everyday lives into an Instagram worthy moment. They provide us with not just goods, but also experiences and lifestyles that we can aspire for.
For businesses who are considering a studio session, one thing to consider is that a studio is a space that provides the perfect amount of natural light, controlled lighting and props to get the best results. The studio has been designed to fit the needs of lifestyle brands. They are able to use it as a hub for their brands across various media channels. It is also a creative space where they can shoot videos and take photos all in one place.
Here are some strategies to consider when it comes to lifestyle branding:
1. Post behind-the-scenes photos.
Your followers will usually want to see what goes on behind the scenes of your business. Show them photos of your team in action, your office or workspace, and any special events or projects you're working on. You can include this in your stories or even in your static posts. There's plenty of ways to showcase BTS content.
2. Share sneak peeks.
Sneak peeks are a great way to generate excitement for new products, services, or events. If you have something big coming up, give your followers a glimpse of what's to come. Personally one of my favorite things to do is to inlcude a teaser in my stories as to what is coming.
3. Highlight your customers.
Your customers are the heart of your business, so make sure to highlight them on your Instagram account. Share photos of them using your products or services, and show off the amazing things they're doing with your help. Showing appreciation to your customers will never be a bad idea, and it's always a fun thing to do on social media!
4. Showcase your brand identity.
Make sure your Instagram feed reflects your brand's unique personality. Whether you're funny, serious, or somewhere in between, make sure every photo tells a cohesive story about who you are as a business. Why is this helpful? The objective is that when someone lands on your Instagram, they should be able to tell who it belongs to, hence brand identity is established. One easy tip around this is to: post yourself every 9 squares or so. People will love to see more of you!
